A kid conversation I listened to while helping the kids to clean their room:
Carolina (singing) - One, two buckle my shoe.
Three, four pick up sticks.
One, five open the door.
One, four open the door.
Goo - One four isn't right Carolina.
Carolina keeps on singing her own way.
Goo - One four isn't how you say it. One four is a number called thirteen.
Carolina still singing the same way over and over.
Here is my own version for baby Samantha:
One, two baby Goo.
Three, four baby Goo.
Five, six baby Goo.
Seven, eight baby Goo.
Nine, ten baby Goo again.
....it almost works.
