What was I doing 10 years ago:
February 2000...I was dating Felipe, breaking up and getting back together, working as a bilingual assistant in an elementary school and working on my BA in Spanish. Wow, I worked from 8am-1 pm ever day and then went to school from 3:30pm-8:00pm every night - with a 30 min. drive home. I don't know how I handled that schedule. I love my schedule now :)
Five snacks I enjoy:
1. Instant Breakfast
2. Triple chocolate mushy brownies
3. Homemade right out of the oven chocolate chip cookies
4. MnM's
5. Saltine crackers with sharp cheddar cheese and mustard
In the real world:
1. ...crocheting and knitting all the time now - hoping to someday be "good" at them.
2. ...homeschooling my kiddos. We have a lot of fun on most days.
3. ...hanging out with people younger than some of Felipe's former high school students - that is what happens when you are still in school and our age.
4. ...thinking I am as young as they are until I realize what year our friends were born in (I was already baptized.) and having Felipe tell me I am not as young as I think I am as I sit and try to knit.
5. ...missing going to young single adult dances tonight after hearing a few nostalgic songs - wishing they had old married adult dances...
Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
1. Build a big house with a gym inside (meaning like a church cultural hall for the kids to run and play in - not a gym with exercise machines ) and a library - with a big yard and maybe a chicken or a pony.
2. Buy an expensive sewing machine and maybe just buy the whole fabric/craft store or at least everything in it.
3. Pay a lot of tithing and donate a lot to things on the tithing slip :)
4. Help kids and babies somehow - not sure exactly how since I don't have a billion dollars.
5. Start my own scholarships.
Five jobs I've had:
1. Paper girl
2. Burger King OT and FM (order taker and food maker)
3. Driver and subpoena deliverer all over So. Cal.
4. Smith's Warehouse Muffin Conveyor Belt Person
5. Teacher
Three of my habits:
1. Staying up too late.
2. Waking up too late.
3. Talking to other drivers while I drive (Pretty much telling other cars what to do and what not to do - even thought they can't hear me.)
Five places I've lived:
1. Riverside, CA
2. Syracuse, UT
3. Salt Lake City, UT
4. Punta Arenas, Chile
5. Osorno, Chile
What do you want others to get from your blog:
Maybe a laugh...Maybe a good quote...Maybe help falling asleep....
